I was fortunate this past weekend to escape to Chicago with three of my girlfriends for a fabulous five day trip. It is no small feet to coordinate four girls, with small children, from three different states, but it was well worth the effort. On the agenda...sleep, eat, shop, and site see.
Funny how your priorities become very simple once you have children. Jeni and I took an hour nap as soon as we checked into the hotel. Kate arrived from Florida and then Flora arrived the next afternoon from Montana.
We stayed on the Magnificent Mile and found Chicago to be very clean and friendly. We plan to meet there again with our families as we fell in love with this city.
Thanks to Trevor for knowing I needed a break and taking on the kids solo for 5 days. Not only did he do a fabulous job, but he had the house clean and laundry done when I got home. Am I spoiled or what!?
