Our little girl is 2!!!!

We swear that Landry turned from a baby to a little girl overnight. She started potty training herself at 18 months and is done with diapers except at night (Awesome!). She does everything in her power to keep up with Teagan and usually does just that. She is talking in 4-5 word sentences which means we understand most of what she is trying to ask us, so we rarely see a temper tantrum.  Her well baby checkup last week put her at 24.5 lbs, 35 inches tall.  She is a happy girl who loves to sing, dance, and dress up. We all adore her and she lights up our world!

Landry's 2nd birthday party

We did a destination birthday party this year and the theme was owls. Landry has loved owls ever since we read the book "Owl Moon" so now when ever we see anything with owls we think of her. She still talks about her owl cake which literally took her breath away when she saw it for the first time.
Our friends the Sieferts, the Prizeman's, along with Grandma, Pop, and Aunt Erin helped her celebrate in our condo at the waterpark. She received lots of great gifts and had fun with her friends. Thanks for helping make the party a success!

Fun at Silver Mountain Waterpark

We always have so much fun at the waterpark and the kids spend hours in the water. Teagan and Julia are the best of buds despite going months without seeing each other. Landry liked having Anna show her the ropes and they did several laps around the lazy river together.  Somehow I didn't get any pictures of James and Bree at the waterpark, but we were so glad they could join us for the day. This was Aunt Erin's first trip to the waterpark and I think she is hooked.

Where did 5 years go?!

It is hard to believe that our tiny 5 lb baby is now a thriving 5 year old. Those first couple years were very challenging and sleep deprived and we really weren't sure we would live to tell the tale, but every moment has been worth it to know this sweet, smart boy. Teagan's gentle nature and kind heart greets us with hugs and snuggles every day and we marvel at his intelligence as he builds his latest lego creation, reads words, and asks insightfull questions. Teagan, we love you and what a blessing you are in our lives.
