This is such a fun age! Landry is commando crawling all over the place as we scramble to baby proof. She is rocking Teagan's world as she gets into all his toys. She is cutting her first tooth, says "mama", "dada", and "baba". Teagan's response, "I'm not baba".
I enrolled her in a swimming class and she is loving the water as well as her little girlfriends. They "talk" to each other the entire time.
She is loving solid food as long as it doesn't come in a jar. Her favorite is blueberries, but she'll try anything you throw at her. We just love her!

Best buds
I just had to post a picture of Teagan's best buddy, Ethan. We are so fortunate that Teagan found a friend his age next door and they love to spend time together (with the occasional 3 year old conflict). Somehow they put this puzzle together with no fighting and gave each other words of encouragement the entire time. "Good job with that piece Teagan", "You are really good at this Ethan"...so cute!

The Nutcracker
I had the privilege of taking Teagan to his first live stage performance, "The Nutcracker". We had been reading the story and listening to the music so he was excited to see what it was all about. We had great seats in the third row and he stayed still and quiet the entire two hours. I hope the memories stay with him as I know they will with me.

Deck the Halls
My parents brought us a tree from Montana when they came down for Thanksgiving. We spent the day decorating for the season and enjoyed watching Teagan and Landry take it all in. There is nothing like living Christmas through a child's eyes. The picture of Landry says it all!

Coeur d'alene Christmas parade
The day after Thanksgiving my mom, sister, and I braved the cold rain and took Teagan and Landry to the Coeur d'alene Christmas parade. Some of the floats were pretty amazing, others not so much. It ended with Santa on a firetruck and a spectacular fireworks show over the lake set to music. I haven't been that cold and wet in a really long time, but the kids loved it and stayed warm somehow. Luckly Landry was encased in a pink suit that tripled her body size.
