January 1st marked the one year anniversary of my brother's passing. My family and I are still deep into grieving and continue to deal with the difficult circumstances of his death. To date no one has been formally arrested in the hit and run, but the case is still under investigation.
God continues to send us signs that keep us strong. This fall some hunters in Troy came across a young man hunting near Troy who just happened to be the son of Bronson's lung recipient. The man said he hadn't been hunting with his father for many years because of his illness. Bronson would have been hunting those same woods, so it is comforting to me to know that part of him is still doing the things he loved. The donor recipient and his eight children also just happen to live about 20 minutes from my house in Spokane. Pretty amazing considering the recipient pool covers the entire northwest. We have been communicating with him through letters, but hope to meet him in person when the time is right.
Teagan talks about Bronson all the time and we hope to keep those memories alive. We have many pictures around of Bronson and discuss stories as they come to mind. We miss him every day!

Robin-
Thanks for sharing the post about Bronson. I am reminded that even in tradgedy...God is good. He never promised there would be no suffering but he did promise He would carry us through.
Jeremiah 31:25 “I will give rest and strength to those who are weak and tired.”
I will continue to pray for strength for you and your family, Robin. We love you.

Robin, I'm so glad that you posted this. I loved that picture of little boy Bronson, so sweet! Even as adults we tend to remember the things our parents talked about often and had pictures of. Good job, making sure that happens for Teagan and Bronson! I love your family so much!
