Somehow Trevor was able to take vacation for Christmas this year so we traveled to Troy to celebrate with our families. We were all very spoiled this year (borderline obscene) and yes there is a beautiful tree somewhere in all those presents. Teagan and Landry were at such a fun age this year and it was so fun for all of us to just watch their joy. Landry would open a gift and then after awhile would come whisper in my ear, "can I open another one?". My favorite moment was when she opened her gift from Teagan that he bought at the Santa workshop kids shop. He picked it out himself and found a small Dora backpack. She loved it and after opening it went over to Teagan and gave him a big hug telling him thank you.
Teagan is now fully equiped with Star Wars gear and his Santa gift was the large AT-AT pictured. Landry got a Calico Critters treehouse and her "princess Barbie" aka Cinderella doll that she asked from Santa.
We had a wonderful Christmas morning with my parents, Aunt Erin and Uncle Darwin and our good friend Jim.

22 weeks pregnant
I am already finding that this pregnancy is going by very fast especially with the Teagan and Landry excercise program keeping me busy every day. These pictures were taken at 22 weeks (I am now 30 weeks as I type), but we wanted to get a few belly shots in before baby arrives. This pregnancy has been great and I am trying to enjoy every moment since this will be our last baby. I am scheduled for a C-section on April 4 so we'll see if I can make it that far this time. We'll be meeting our little one before we know it!

Disney On Ice
The weekend before Thanksgiving we attended the Disney On Ice show with my parents. We had great seats and both kids were enthralled the entire show. Our friends the Seiferts also came to town to see the show so we were able to spend some quality time with Pete, Jeni, Anna and Julia.

Our first big snow
Our good snow hasn't wanted to stick around this year so when it does arrive we seize the moment and run outside. We don't have a good sledding hill, but the kids are just as happy with me pulling them around the yard (luckly they don't weigh much). Our snowman lasted long enough to take a picture and then Teagan body slammed him, but we had fun making him.

Cuddle bugs
I found Teagan and Landry cuddled under the blankets one morning in her little toddler bed. It was so cute I had to take a picture. We have since moved Landry into a queen size bed as she was waking me up every night. It worked like a charm and she has been sleeping great ever since. I can now enjoy my last few months of uninterrupted sleep before baby arrives.

Thank our Veterans
Teagan's school had a nice tribute to Veterans day where the kids sang songs and then honored a few veteran guests. We decided to thank Pop in person for being a veteran and visited Troy for the long weekend. We had a nice time and took a walk in the woods to flag our Christmas tree. Pop took the opportunity to teach the kids some survival skills and showed them how to find dry twigs in the wet woods and use pitch to start a fire. They were totally fascinated and wanted to make the fire bigger until we tempted them away with the promise of hot cocoa at Grandma's house.

Girls with Guns
My friend Kari decided she wanted to spend her girls birthday night out going to a local shooting range. My other friends Jen, Sandra and I were excited to try it and we ended up having a great time. We shot four different hand guns and then had to pose with the big gun at the end. It was very empowering and I'm sure we'll be back for a girls night out in the future.

Halloween 2010
This marks the first Halloween that Teagan was excited to participate. He was looking forward to wearing his Commander Cody Star Wars costume and trick or treating. Landry of course thought it was the best thing ever invented since she got to dress like a princess and get free treats. She is the sweet tooth of the family. We focused our energy on our neighborhood this year and almost hit every house, resulting in plenty of loot. We picked out the favorites and then Teagan and I took the remaining pile to our dentist the next day who gave the kids $1 for every pound of candy they turned over. He then ships it to troops overseas. A win win deal for all of us!

Fall Fun
In preparation for Halloween we visited the farms in Greenbluff for our annual pumpkin and apple picking. We ate our share of fresh pumpkin donuts and hot cocoa and spent a great morning together in the very cool, October air.
Later that day we took the kids to my friend Jen's Halloween party. She organized great activities and goodies for the kids (and adults) and even had the neighbors do a practice run of trick or treating for all the kids. It was the perfect end to a great day!
